The Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy is seeking a senior governance expert to provide technical support in convening IHR coordination meetings.

Background
  • In the aftermath of the Joint External Evaluation (2023) of 19 technical areas under the International Health Regulations (IHR 2005), a National Action Plan for Health Security was developed with technical assistance from E4H.
  • A governance and coordination framework for IHR (2005) has been established, including Taskforce, Technical Working Groups (TWGs), provincial, and national IHR focal points.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operationalization of IHR governance, guiding Taskforce/TWG meetings, ensuring NAPHS alignment, and providing policy leadership.
  • Convene IHR Coordination (Taskforce & TWG) meetings and provide technical support.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Policy, Systems Management, or relevant field.
  • 15+ years' experience in health security governance & IHR 2005.
  • Proven reform leadership and institutional framework design.
