Game Sound Designer Position

We are seeking a skilled Game Sound Designer to create and implement high-quality audio assets for our games. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, editing, and integrating sound effects, ambience, and UI sounds into game engines.

  • Design and record sound effects, ambience, and UI sounds for games.
  • Collaborate with game designers, developers, and artists to understand audio requirements.
  • Integrate audio into game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • Mix and master audio to ensure consistency and quality across platforms.
  • Develop adaptive/interactive audio systems to enhance gameplay.
  • Organise and maintain an library of audio assets.
  • Ensure audio aligns with the game's theme, mood, and storytelling.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sound Designer or Audio Engineer in gaming.
  • Strong knowledge of digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Reaper, or Ableton.
  • Familiarity with sound design tools and plugins.
  • Experience working with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine) for audio integration.
  • Solid understanding of mixing, mastering, and audio optimisation for different platforms.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of timing and atmosphere.
  • Portfolio/reel demonstrating previous game audio or sound design work.
