Key Responsibilities

Able to operate the retail pharmacy independently. The role involves managing and processing prescriptions, providing expert advice to patients when required, and verifying that customers receive their correct prescription(s) at point of sale.

Additionally, the pharmacist is responsible for ordering medical products, maintaining effective inventory management, safe storage of these products, and computerized records.

The role also involves overseeing daily cash management, sales, and purchases. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing and supervising pharmacy support staff, selling healthcare and other products, promoting sales, and developing the business.

It's also crucial to keep up-to-date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs, and their uses. This includes assisting in training existing and new employees, counseling and advising customers on minor ailments treatment.

Job Specifications

For this role, we are seeking a professional with 2-3 years' experience as a retail pharmacist/manager. Key attributes include being honest and professional, well-groomed, courteous, and having strong communication skills.

Technical strength and an understanding of medical terminology are also essential. Additionally, knowledge of medication brands and generic names, computer operations, and effective customer handling skills are necessary.
