Job Title: Specialist Healthcare Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Specialist Healthcare Professional to join our team in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, with a focus on professionalism, empathy, and discretion.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the field, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also possess strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver professional medical care to patients, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • To maintain accurate patient records, using HMIS systems to ensure seamless communication and data management.
  • To collaborate with nursing staff to monitor patient progress, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
  • To provide clear instructions and guidance to patients regarding medication, treatment plans, and discharge procedures.
  • To uphold confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
  • To respond to emergencies and urgent situations, working closely with the medical team to ensure prompt and effective treatment.
  • To adhere to Health and Safety guidelines, minimizing risks and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • MBBS degree or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and independent working style
  • Familiarity with HMIS systems and electronic patient records
