NiFT is looking for an IT Security Hardening specialist to enhance our IT infrastructure security.

About the Role

This role will involve conducting regular access reviews to prevent unauthorized access, assessing and enhancing network security configurations to meet industry best practices, developing and maintaining hardening policies for IT assets, ensuring compliance with security standards and frameworks, performing security reviews and risk assessments of critical infrastructure, overseeing ongoing security projects and reporting updates to the CISO, and managing DLP operations and conducting user awareness sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Access Reviews: Conduct regular access reviews to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Network Security: Assess and enhance network security configurations to meet industry best practices.
  • Hardening Policies: Develop and maintain hardening policies for IT assets.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks.
  • Risk Management: Perform security reviews and risk assessments of critical infrastructure.
  • Security Project Management: Oversee ongoing security projects and report updates to the CISO.
  • Data Loss Prevention: Manage DLP operations and conduct user awareness sessions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH are preferred).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in IT security, network security, and system hardening.
Technical Skills:
  • Network Security: Strong understanding of network security protocols and technologies.
  • Security Hardening: Hands-on experience with security hardening and compliance measures.
  • Security Assessments: Knowledge of security assessments, risk management, and governance.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactivity: A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security threats.
