Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and committed Professional Development Officer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of professional development initiatives across the organization. This role is essential in ensuring that employees continue to meet professional standards and receive the development opportunities necessary for career growth.

The Professional Development Officer will play a hands-on role in maintaining training records, assisting with individual development plans, and collaborating with stakeholders to promote continuous learning across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation and administration of professional development programs in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of professional development participation and certifications.
  • Assist in preparing professional development materials, event coordination, and communication with employees.
  • Help monitor individual development plans and ensure compliance with professional standards.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from professional development sessions to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external professional development activities, including seminars and workshops.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to professional development.
Qualification and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in training, professional development, or a similar HR function.
  • Basic knowledge of professional development frameworks and continuous learning principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Learning Management System tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Certification (Preferred):
  • Relevant professional development, HR, or Learning and Development certifications will be an advantage.

Office-based work.
