Senior Lead Architect

This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of technology and drive significant business impact in financial services.

As a Senior Lead Architect, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for developing high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing technical governance bodies for product families
  • Providing feedback and proposing improvements to architecture governance practices
  • Evaluating current technology and leading the evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
  • Providing technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Developing secure and high-quality production code, as well as reviewing and debugging code written by others
  • Driving decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
  • Serving as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
  • Actively contributing to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills include:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
  • Practical cloud native experience
  • Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
