We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer II to design, develop, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable software components for our state-of-the-art technology products.

As part of our agile team, you will work on enhancing, designing, and delivering software solutions through the development, troubleshooting, and testing of multiple components within technical products, applications, or systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • Write secure and high-quality code using at least one programming language
  • Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
  • Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve automation value
  • Apply technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve basic complexity problems
  • Gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
  • Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
  • Contribute to a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages
  • Proficient in coding in Java, Spring Boot, ORM frameworks, Micro services
  • Hands-on design experience in React, Material UI, JavaScript, RDBMS
  • Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
  • Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
