Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Senior to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across the campus.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and be proficient in assembling and installing various materials such as iron, steel, glass, copper, and plastic.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair plumbing systems, including piping, valves, faucets, fixtures, and drains.
  • Work on sanitary drainage, storm drainage facilities, special wastes, venting systems, and public or private water supply systems.
  • Maintain wastewater treatment systems and respond to emergency and trouble calls throughout the hospital.
Key Qualifications:
  • Education: Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma in Plumbing preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years post-apprenticeship training required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Journeyman Plumber license preferred; Master Plumber license preferred; ASSE 6010 Installer Certification; ASME IX Brazer Certification/Medical Gas Brazer; Wastewater Treatment Operator license (Massachusetts); Personal Driver's License (New Hampshire).
  • Skills: Ability to read blueprints, knowledge of Massachusetts plumbing codes, physical strength, ability to work overtime, and ability to lift over seventy pounds occasionally.
