Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to contribute to our team. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components to meet the specific requirements of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit theory, power systems, electronics, and electromagnetism. They will also be proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools to create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, components, and products based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Create and review schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements to propose innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical designs.
  • Perform simulations and calculations to evaluate the performance and efficiency of electrical systems.
  • Select appropriate components and materials based on performance, reliability, and cost considerations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and reports.
  • Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during development and testing phases.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in electrical design, preferably in the development of complex systems or products.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for schematic design and technical drawings (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium Designer).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power electronics, and electromagnetic theory.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or PLECS.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical design (e.g., NEC, UL, IEC).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
