Assistant Store Manager
  • Key responsibilities include training sales staff by reviewing and revising orientation to products and sales communication; evaluating the results of their job performance and learning needs with store management; developing and implementing new product training based on consumer behavior analysis.
  • Evaluating competition and current market trends by gathering information such as style, quality, and prices of competitive merchandise.
  • Creating an attractive shopping experience by communicating product unique selling points; following display suggestions or schedules; constructing or assembling prefabricated display fixtures; producing visually appealing merchandise displays in windows and showcases, and on sales floors.
  • Promoting sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers.
  • Providing excellent customer service by offering information; answering questions; obtaining merchandise requested; completing payment transactions; preparing merchandise for delivery.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Managing inventory levels by checking merchandise stock; anticipating customer demand.
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Ensuring high-quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards.
