Job Title: QA Specialist

We.R.Play seeks highly motivated and intelligent quality assurance analysts to test games. The ideal candidate is a hardcore gamer with a solid QA background who can find and accurately describe issues in an organized and clear fashion.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to work on their own initiative, and possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual black box testing of iOS/Android games to identify bugs and report issues.
  • Analyze games from user and developer perspectives to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Document bugs with clear reproduction steps and identify similar problems.
  • Identify issues outside of normal test boundaries and maintain bugs throughout their life cycle.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to achieve common goals.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, owning all or part of the testing effort.
  • Compose daily and weekly reports to team managers and point of contacts.
  • Review feature lists and creative documentation to track quality of tools and processes during QA testing.
  • Contribute suggestions and feedback on We.R.Play games.
Requirements:
  • Possess a passion for games and testing.
  • Have a solid grasp of the QA cycle and processes.
  • Understand black box testing of games.
  • Be able to follow directions and communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, good analytical skills, and multitasking abilities.
  • Display persistence, patience, and a strong work ethic.
  • Exhibit unrelenting motivation and initiative.
  • Be willing to work extended hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Game QA experience.
  • Knowledge of We.R.Play games.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • X-code usage experience.
  • Android/iOS device usage experience.
