  • Leadership Role: Provide guidance and direction to project teams to ensure timely completion of software development projects.
  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Determining operational objectives by studying business requirements and evaluating output requirements and formats.
  2. Ensuring that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively.
  3. Defining project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements.
  4. Demonstrating leadership abilities to clients with the deployment of software upgrades, enhancements, and fixes.
  5. Providing a software development plan that meets the future needs of clients and markets, based on state-of-the-art technologies.
  6. Coordinating with clients for business requirements and project implementation related activities.
  7. Coordinating release and sprint planning.
  8. Conducting daily scrum meetings.
  9. Helping developers resolve both technical problems as well as human resources issues.
  10. Providing leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.
  11. Preparing technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge of software development environments, UML tools, and software measurement techniques.
  • Experience with distributed teams and software lifecycle management.
