Software Quality Assurance Position

Cynosure Designs is looking for a skilled Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure that software products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

We require a candidate with a minimum of 1 year of experience in software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of software development methodologies and testing practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and executing software test plans and test cases to identify defects and improve overall software application quality.
  • Collaborating with development teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve bugs in a timely manner.
  • Analyzing requirements and design specifications to develop comprehensive test plans covering all aspects of the software.
  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts to increase efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Conducting regular testing activities, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to identify and report defects.
  • Participating in software development projects to provide input on the design and implementation of new features and enhancements.
  • Communicating regularly with project managers and stakeholders to provide status updates and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing practices.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working Hours

This position requires working on-site with office hours from 1 PM to 10 PM in Lahore, Pakistan.
