Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to manage our Upwork profile. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads and securing projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify new business opportunities on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
  • Develop and submit high-quality proposals tailored to the client's needs.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure alignment with the client's needs and timelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Manage and maintain the Upwork profile including portfolio items and relevant content.
  • Monitor and track the status of proposals and projects providing regular updates to the team.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of experience in sales roles within the IT industry.
  • Experience working in the US UK and/or EU markets.
  • Proven track record of success in submitting proposals and bidding on Upwork.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written English skills to create compelling proposals.
  • Ability to understand technical project requirements and communicate them effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with web and app development services is a plus.
