About the Role:

We're seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance backend systems using Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems using Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js.
  • Work with our development team to ensure seamless data integration and manage relationships across complex data tables for various user roles.
  • Maintain and optimize database infrastructure, ensuring strong database design, administration, and optimization skills.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and work with microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js.
  • Production experience with backend frameworks in high-scale environments.
  • Expertise in relational and non-relational databases.
  • Strong experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
  • Proficient in client-side scripting, JavaScript frameworks, and handling cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and an understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in TypeScript.
  • Experience in database infrastructure setup and optimization.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Familiarity with automated testing platforms, unit testing, and end-to-end testing.
