Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project and Product Manager to lead complex initiatives and drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of initiatives that span multiple lines of business.
  • Provide on-site leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals.
  • Full project life cycle ownership, from initiation to deployment.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, testing, and deployment management activities.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Innovate to convert business needs into technology solutions.
  • Establish best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships that facilitate project success.
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of the project.
  • Procure and manage adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
  • Monitor staff performance and complete performance reviews.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
  • Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
  • Assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration, or litigation as needed.
  • Support engagement contract management.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project and program teams.
  • Effectively communicate with superiors, team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Continuously develop skills to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, methods, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Define the vision for the team's product and maintain a cohesive vision throughout the process.
  • Create a product roadmap based on this vision.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks based on changing requirements.
  • Oversee all stages of product creation, including design and development.
  • Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process.
  • Work with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports.
  • Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
