Product Management Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned product manager to spearhead the development and launch of new embedded software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java enterprise and embedded system engineering, with 5+ years of experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex digital products.

The role involves overseeing project portfolios, collaborating closely with technical stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential in this role, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage product roadmaps and backlogs
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define and prioritize requirements
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and team members
  • Monitor and analyze project metrics to optimize efficiency and quality
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Java enterprise and embedded system engineering
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with cloud-based development tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization techniques
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles

Job brief: We are looking for a professional Product Manager to execute enterprise applications and complete the embedded software development lifecycle. The goal is to create scalable and optimized embedded systems.

Description: Product Manager (Software and Embedded System)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the running and development of new and ongoing projects/products
  • Manage stakeholders and communicate with a remote development team
  • Assist in maintaining product performance
  • Understand customer insight and identify & define opportunities, problems or threats
  • Manage product backlogs and prioritize work
  • Create user stories and test functionality as part of the agile development process
  • Review code and design
  • Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources
  • Integrate and validate new product designs
  • Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
  • Provide post-production support
  • Interface with hardware design and development
  • Assess third-party and open-source software

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java Enterprise & Embedded software engineering combined
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience working closely with a tech team to communicate requirements, test, and deliver digital products
  • An understanding of data and be comfortable with data-related development
  • An understanding of insight with the user in mind
  • Results-driven & an excellent communicator with stakeholder management experience
  • Experience working with development and UX teams
  • Worked within an Agile environment
  • Experience with stakeholder management
  • The ability to function well as part of a multi-discipline team/cross-functionally
  • Proven experience in Java Enterprise application design and development
  • Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
  • Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
  • Strong documentation and writing skills
