Job Summary
The role of Assistant Director is responsible for managing the research publications database, conferences database, editorial activities database, and workflows for accurate record keeping. The incumbent will also develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for conferences, workshops, and symposiums in harmony with funding agency policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and developing the NUST Research Portal, focusing on research publications database, conferences database, editorial activities database, workflows for accurate AAR record keeping, report generation, and graphics.
  • Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for conferences, workshops, and symposiums in harmony with funding agency policies.
  • Processing internal conference cases, reimbursement of funds from HEC, PSF, PAS, and other agencies.
  • Preparing reports and analyses on research publications for decision-making and stakeholder visibility using Web of Science, Scopus, and other databases.
  • Resolving day-to-day queries and issues related to research publications and conferences for faculty members.
  • Liaison with research funding agencies and attending events to stay updated on latest developments for the benefit of the research community.
