About the Role- We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team, responsible for acquiring new clients and maintaining existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new clients with healthy commercials in their respective zones.
- Function as the main contact person for city-wide client accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with all accounts in the portfolio.
- Analyze and identify upcoming needs and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Responsible for MoM growth of all assigned accounts.
- Clearly communicate progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports on commercial metrics, operational metrics, product mix, marketing campaigns etc.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. monthly & quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- Design exclusive marketing campaigns, partnerships & co-branding activities.
- Support cross-functional teams in delivering strategy by facilitating communication of lessons learned, resolving urgent issues, lining up appropriate group-level support and deploying processes & tools.
- Additional tasks/projects as they arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
- Good understanding of retail landscape of Pakistan.
- Able to take full ownership of function.
- At least 2-3 years' experience in relevant field.
- Process-oriented and data-driven.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, or Google equivalents.
- Solid knowledge of internet and e-commerce sector.
- Driven and ambitious.
- Proactive and able to lead independent projects.
- Able to perform root cause analysis and build process flows.
- Detailed-oriented and attentive to process steps.
- Flexible but fast-paced environment.
