Job Description

The Patient Journey Partner is at the center of our new organization, turning upside down the role we play in society - from mostly offering world-class medicines towards much more partnering, innovating, and leading generative disruption. By doing so, the Patient Journey Partner will be directly accountable to deliver better outcomes for patients, their community, the ecosystem, and the organization, faster.

The Patient Journey Partner is an empowered leader and the local face of our organization. They partner closely with all stakeholders directly touching the patient journey in a given therapeutic area, including healthcare professionals, academics, patient advocacy groups, and patients, gaining a deep understanding of their needs in order to connect our capabilities to co-create meaningful solutions.

Responsibilities
  • The primary point of contact between stakeholders and our organization.
  • Responsible for our products through their lifecycle and supports their appropriate use, which includes sharing their merits with healthcare professionals.
  • Disease landscape understanding and products' knowledge.
  • Responsibility of our products through their lifecycle and support its appropriate use.
  • Broad understanding of the therapeutic area and its respective future pipeline, such that they can work on future-based solutions.
  • Partners with patient journey stakeholders to remove roadblocks and unlock possibilities to deliver value for patients and the community.
  • Acts as a system thinker with the ability to identify shared purpose among stakeholders and leverages this to co-create solutions with stakeholders in the ecosystem.
Requirements
  • Science degree (MBBS/Pharm D/Dentistry will be an added advantage).
  • Business Degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of oncology therapeutic area experience.
  • Consistent track record of achieving objectives, collaboration, and team work.
  • Experience in agile ways of working is a plus.
  • Cross-functional experience.
  • Strong business acumen with desired expertise in commercialization, medical, and customer experience excellence.
  • Growth mindset and deep understanding of patient journeys and related treatments in the oncology area, enabling engagement at the specialist level.
  • Broad understanding of our present portfolio and future pipeline, such that they can work on future-based solutions.
  • Robust understanding of medical affairs strategies and tactics including clinical research.
