Job Overview

This is a challenging role within the production department where you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of milk powder production.

The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Monitor staff work and operations, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of all activities related to milk powder production, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Train shift engineers and provide guidance to ensure efficient plant operations.
  • Prepare activity reports and discuss them with the Production Manager to identify trends and areas for growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to maximize quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Read management logbooks to gain insights into current problems and risks.
  2. Visit each section periodically to monitor staff work and operations.
  3. Ensure smooth functioning of each section within the production department.
  4. Possess practical and theoretical knowledge of equipment operation in various process areas.
  5. Address abnormalities and non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive measures.
  6. Provide guidance and practical solutions to minimize losses.
  7. Communicate processing parameters and working procedures to staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
  8. Maintain and educate staff on personal and plant hygiene, ensuring compliance with instructions.
  9. Document shift activities in the management logbook and relay new instructions from higher management.
  10. Report process abnormalities immediately and take necessary actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Daily production experience with Butter, Desi Ghee, Milk Powder, and Cream.
  • A deep understanding of standards such as HALAL, ISO, HACCP, Environment, URSA, Punjab Food Authority, and PSQCA.
