This Computer Instructor position involves designing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of students with varying skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and prior experience as a computer teacher.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and implementing lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying skill levels.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students' confidence and motivation.
  • Managing classroom dynamics, including observing and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Grading projects, quizzes, and examinations, and providing constructive feedback to students.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the Computer Instructor will also be required to:

  • Download software updates and maintain hardware to ensure the smooth operation of the computer laboratory.
  • Attend parent-teacher and faculty conferences to discuss student progress and receive feedback.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline is mandatory. Teaching certification for the level at which you will be instructing is also essential. Prior experience as a computer teacher is advantageous, but not necessary. A nurturing, adaptable approach to instructing is highly valued.
