Senior Data Analyst/Reporting - Business Intelligence Expert

This role requires a highly experienced and motivated individual to work directly with senior leadership on data-driven initiatives.

You will analyze and interpret complex data sets to drive business insights and decision-making, using Power BI and data flow processes to develop innovative solutions for data visualization, reporting, and analysis.

  • Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and transform large and complex data sets from various sources for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI tools and techniques.
  • Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models to ensure accurate and efficient data analysis and reporting.
  • ETL and Data Flow Management: Develop, implement, and manage ETL processes and data flows to ensure seamless data integration and availability for reporting.
  • Statistical Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to identify correlations, trends, and relationships in data.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams to understand and translate business needs, processes, and challenges into effective data visualizations and dashboards; present data findings in a clear and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in data visualization, including 4+ years of hands-on Power BI development; prior working experience in travel management, travel insurance, or membership-based organizations is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proven 4+ years of experience in Power BI development, strong knowledge of data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and data modeling concepts, ability to write DAX queries and proficiency with SQL, databases, and data warehousing concepts.

Leadership Skills: Proven experience in working independently and in collaboration with different teams, excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a non-technical audience.
