Job Title:

General Surgery Physician Specialist

About the Department:

The Department of General Surgery provides comprehensive care in surgical areas.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform regular medical duties and conduct rounds with Consultants in assigned wards.
  2. Conduct pre-operative assessments and complete necessary paperwork.
  3. Coordinate with primary teams for continuity of patient care.
  4. Maintain accurate documentation and quality record keeping.
  5. Display procedural skills and caution to avoid complications.
  6. Ensure patients receive correct post-operative medications and instructions.
  7. Adhere to infection control procedures.
Requirements:
  1. MBBS degree from an accredited institution.
  2. FCPS part I certification in General Surgery.
  3. One year internship experience with six months in General Surgery and related disciplines.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
