As a key member of our newsroom, you will be responsible for researching and developing story ideas, conducting interviews, and writing and editing scripts for TV and online content.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with at least 1 year of professional experience in TV broadcast news or news magazine production.
  • You will be responsible for researching and developing story ideas and pitches for daily and long-form news stories.
  • As a reporter, you will conduct interviews with experts and individuals involved in the story.
  • You will also work closely with our anchors to deliver high-quality newscasts on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop story ideas and pitches for daily and long-form news stories.
  • Conduct interviews with experts and individuals involved in the story.
  • Write and edit scripts for TV and online content.
  • Collaborate with anchors to deliver high-quality newscasts on time.
  • Brainstorm story ideas with colleagues and contribute to the development of ongoing coverage.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in TV broadcast news or news magazine production.
  • Strong research and interviewing skills.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
