Academic Director

The Head of Academic Affairs is responsible for promoting academic excellence by monitoring school progress and developing strategies to improve student outcomes.

The role involves recruiting, developing, and supporting teaching staff to deliver high-quality education.

A culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and continuous learning should be fostered in the school community.

Main Responsibilities:

• Recruit and select qualified teachers through a rigorous process.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive school improvement plan based on data analysis and need assessment.
• Monitor classroom quality through lesson planning, observations, and feedback sessions.
• Support teacher growth and development through training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Monitor student performance and progress through regular assessments and evaluations.
• Organize and manage co-curricular activities, events, and resources to support student development.
• Attend professional development sessions and workshops to stay updated on best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless implementation of policies and procedures.

Administrative Duties:

• Develop strong relationships with the community to promote education and awareness about our schools.
• Maintain accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and performance.
• Manage staff leaves, attendance, and scheduling to minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate with regional offices for staff hiring, retention, and performance management.
• Maintain discipline and order in the school premises.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and documents as required.

Demonstrated leadership skills through academic, extracurricular, or professional achievements. Ability to motivate self and others, communicate effectively, build meaningful relationships, and take ownership of personal and professional growth.

At least Graduate degree with relevant experience in education administration or teaching. B.Ed and M.Ed qualifications preferred.
