Primary School Leader

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to lead our primary school. As a primary school leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the educational program, managing staff, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote high standards of evidence-based learning and teaching by monitoring school progress across key performance indicators.
• Develop a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and continuous learning among students, teachers, and staff.
• Recruit, develop, and retain quality teachers who can deliver exceptional education to our students.

Academic Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement an effective school improvement plan based on needs analysis.
2. Monitor classroom quality through lesson planners and formal/informal classroom observations.
3. Provide ongoing professional development for teachers to enhance their knowledge and skills.
4. Ensure academic accountability by tracking student performance and implementing strategies to improve outcomes.
5. Coordinate co-curricular activities, manage timetables, and oversee the use of academic resources.

Administrative Responsibilities:

1. Establish strong relationships with the community to promote education and increase enrollment.
2. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, leave, and other administrative matters.
3. Supervise administrative assistants in accounts, attendance, and other duties.
4. Manage school finances, including budgeting, accounting, and reporting.
5. Ensure maintenance of school premises, supply, and utility services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in school leadership or management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
