Sought after AR Specialist to join our team and help drive business forward by providing top-notch medical billing services.
Job Description:As an experienced Accounts Receivable expert, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing AR balances, ensuring timely collections, and reconciling AR ledgers for accurate financial records. Your role will also involve claim submission, payment processing, customer communication, and dispute resolution.
- Manage AR aging reports, reconcile AR ledgers, and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Verify patient insurance details, confirm service eligibility, and liaise with insurance companies for coverage details and pre-authorization requirements.
- Handle pre-authorization requests, follow up with insurance providers for approvals, and maintain records in compliance with regulations and policies.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 1.5 to 3 years of experience in the U.S. healthcare revenue cycle industry, a solid understanding of AR processes, and proficiency in using billing software, EHR/EMR systems, and Microsoft Excel.
