Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial activities of our organization.

  1. Financial Management: Monitor and manage all aspects of financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and transaction processing.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to ensure smooth operation and adherence to company policies.
  3. Vendor Management: Contract and manage external services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as required.
  4. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial reports and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
  5. Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to minimize financial risk and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior executives, board members, and stakeholders.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced Degree: A postgraduate degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in a finance role, preferably in a leadership position.
  • Skill Set: Excellent mathematical skills, leadership abilities, employee management, data privacy understanding, strong communication and public speaking skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, research skills, analytical skills, critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, computer skills, and multi-tasking abilities.
