Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support overall financial operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, preparing invoices, and performing bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and manage invoices for clients and vendors, ensuring timely payment and resolution of any issues
- Handle petty cash transactions and maintain proper records, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate financial data and reports using Microsoft Excel, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions
- Assist in monthly and yearly financial closings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support other accounting and administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of our finance department
- Proven experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
- Strong skills in bank reconciliation, invoicing, and petty cash management, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good command of Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, data entry), with ability to analyze and present complex financial data
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (preferred), with certification in accounting or finance (an asset)
