About the Job
  • Job Title: Assistant Professor (Behavioral Sciences)

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service activities in the department. They will be expected to develop and maintain a strong research program, teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to the department's community service initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in behavioral sciences, including introductory psychology, statistics, and research methods.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on publishing high-quality papers in top-tier journals.
  • Supervise graduate students and mentor them in their research projects.
  • Contribute to the department's community service initiatives, such as organizing workshops and conferences.
Requirements
  • PhD in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Education, Educational Psychology, or Career Guidance from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Publications and experience as per HEC criteria for faculty appointments.

  • Degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

Candidates may be considered ineligible due to:

  • Weak academic profile (e.g., 3rd Div in academic career).
  • NUST employees with less than one year of service or without NOC.
  • In process of pursuing required degree.
  • Medically unfit.
