About the Position:

This Senior Accountant position requires a professional who can manage all aspects of accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial transactions, including bookkeeping and ledger maintenance
  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including filing sales tax and income tax returns
  • Process payroll, manage employee benefits, and handle expense reimbursements
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
  • Coordinate audits and communicate with external auditors when required
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation and reporting systems
  • Present financial insights to management for informed decision-making

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA, CA, or relevant certification is an asset)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, ERP software, and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills
