We are looking for a results-driven Merchandiser to drive business success.

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Coordinate Production Efforts: Work closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Monitor Order Progress and Status: Monitor production schedules and track order progress.
  • Conduct Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities.
  • Support Product Development and Sourcing: Assist in product development and sourcing new suppliers.
  • Analyze Sales Performance and Market Data: Analyze sales reports and market data to inform business decisions.
  • Negotiate with Suppliers: Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
  • Manage Inventory and Samples: Manage product samples and keep track of inventory.
  • Collaborate on Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop marketing strategies.
  • Evaluate Quality Standards: Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Merchandising Background and Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the Textiles industry.
  • Towel Manufacturing Expertise and Industry Acumen: Strong knowledge of towel manufacturing and production processes.
  • Effective Communication, Negotiation, and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-Directed, Independent, and Multitasking Capabilities: Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Technical Tools and Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Critical Thinking Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail and Focus on Accuracy and Quality: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Thriving in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Insight into Market Trends and Customer Preferences: Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences.
  • Building and Maintaining Relationships: Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
