Supply Chain Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and storing goods from production in accordance with storage protocols and recording inventory in SAP.
  • Preparing and handling material authorization slips for contractors.
  • Overseeing warehouse activities to ensure safety and security measures are followed.
  • Safeguarding storage areas from severe weather conditions both indoors and outdoors.
  • Executing delivery and fulfillment processes to meet customer satisfaction and Perfect Order targets.
  • Reducing and maintaining zero customer complaints by improving dispatch quality specifically for food-grade dispatches to domestic and export customers.
  • Managing inbound and outbound logistics following FIFO/FEFO principles.
  • Maintaining continuous operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to avoid delays.
  • Liaising with MHE service providers to keep all equipment operational.
  • Keeping separate storage for block and off-code stocks and coordinating with production for timely reprocessing, repacking, or write-off.
  • Collaborating with the production team for effective storage space management.
  • Actively participating in internal and external audits conducted by customers or third parties.
  • Effectively managing emergency situations especially during changing weather conditions.
  • Ensuring the warehouse environment meets food and pharma-grade Quality Management Systems.
  • Keeping physical inventory in sync with SAP records through regular counts.
  • Working with order processing and inventory controllers to make necessary adjustments.
  • Participating in Integrated Pest Management activities to protect the integrity of finished goods.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree preferably in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • 2-4 Years' experience in Stores & Inventory Management.
  • English fluency, both written and spoken.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in inventory management and dispatch processes.
  • Initiative-taking Problem-Solving: Identify and address issues before they escalate.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory Management: Proficient in managing and tracking inventory levels.
  • Logistics Coordination: Skilled in coordinating inbound and outbound planning.
  • SAP Proficiency: Experienced in using SAP or similar ERP systems for warehouse activities.
