We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Business Development Specialist. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of business buying behavior, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying potential prospects and developing relationships based on business buying behavior
  • Cold-calling to potential prospects generated by external sources of leads
  • Identifying decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process
  • Maintaining and expanding the company's database of prospects

To qualify for this role, you will need:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
  • Good online searching skills
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field from a recognized university
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
