Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual and automated testing.

Description

  • You will develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Manual and automated testing across different environments, platforms, and devices will be performed by you.
  • You will work closely with developers to identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle and provide actionable feedback.
  • You will identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools like Jira or similar systems, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Automated test scripts will be developed and maintained by you for efficient and repeatable testing using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
  • You will continuously evaluate and improve the testing process, recommending tools, methodologies, and best practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, test results, and defects, ensuring transparency and traceability.
  • Performance and load testing will be conducted by you to ensure the software performs optimally under various conditions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a strong background in manual and automated testing.
  • Proven experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Appium.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and agile practices.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and other team members.
