We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in functional testing and a strong grasp of the QA lifecycle in an Agile environment.

  • Responsibilities include writing and maintaining clear, comprehensive test scenarios and test cases, manually executing test cases, recording results, and reporting status regularly.
  • Log defects in the tracking system and support resolution with relevant details, assess and document the severity of bugs in issue tracking systems.
  • Provide timely updates in TestRail and Jira, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Support the QA lifecycle throughout the Agile sprint process, perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in functional testing.
  • Strong skills in writing detailed test scenarios and cases, familiarity with the complete QA lifecycle within Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
