Software Architect

We are seeking a skilled Software Architect to lead the development of exciting products and mobile-first solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating, designing, and building technical stacks, as well as working with teams to identify technologies and tools.

  • Work with teams to identify technologies and tools for use or retirement.
  • Play a hands-on role in evaluating, designing, and building out technical stacks.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to convert client ideas into specifications and provide task estimates.
  • Manage large-scale systems handling millions of transactions and terabytes of data per day.
  • Ensure compliance to architecture on implementation projects.
  • Select appropriate design solutions and ensure compatibility of system components while working with software engineers.
  • Built multi-tier cloud-based applications that can be used by thousands of businesses and then millions of their customers.
  • Adhere to project's best practices and coding standards.
  • Define server architecture and manage/monitor servers for running solutions.
  • Experience in working with automated development environments (DevOps).
  • Strong understanding of project architecture and database schemas.
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, backend, iOS, and Android development.
  • Conduct peer reviews and provide feedback.
  • Remove technical impediments.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks with the PM at the project level.
Job Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in SDLC, with 4 years of experience as a software architect.
  • Experience in building enterprise-grade system architecture with a mobile-first approach.
  • Strong experience in MEAN / LAMP stack.
  • NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, HBase, or Hadoop.
  • API architecture expertise.
  • Serve as an interface between the team and management.
  • Set an example for team members by writing quality code.
  • Strong leadership and training skills.
  • Ability to lead the team at any time for functional or technical concerns.
  • Flexible enough to work under different work environment settings.
  • Preference given to candidates with strong knowledge of NodeJS, MongoDB, and mobile-first application development.
