Job Description

As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing cutting-edge software systems that drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software engineering principles, architecture patterns, and technical leadership strategies. They will be able to communicate complex technical ideas effectively and inspire others to achieve their best.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Gather an up-to-date and in-depth understanding of software technologies and industry trends;
  • Provide and share a broad knowledge of technologies and architectures and function as a mentor within your product stream and with the rest of the organization;
  • Collaborate with other leaders and engineers to ensure that we always deliver software of the highest standards;
  • Promote companywide coding standards, guidelines and best practices;
  • Demonstrate technical leadership and mentorship by setting challenging but realistic goals and guiding team efforts towards successful project delivery;
  • Impact on the direction and scope of our technical vision within your stream;
  • Collaborating closely with Product, Infrastructure, Design, UX, and Strategy to deliver the highest quality products;
  • Hiring top talent to build high-performing teams, constantly raising the bar of engineering excellence;
  • Owning business KPIs as a conduit to our Product team and business functions;
  • Be accountable for the technical direction while ensuring that decisions made daily are in line with our vision and direction;
  • Coach individuals in the team to become the next wave of technical leaders;
Benefits
  • 9+ years of software engineering experience;
  • In-depth understanding of JavaScript and ReactJS;
  • In-depth understanding of free and open-source web application frameworks;
  • Source code control, build process management, CI/CD, automated testing and other development processes;
  • Knowledge of creating and architecting systems that are highly scalable and available;
  • Good understanding of leadership, coaching, and mentoring principles;
  • Experience working on high-traffic and large-scale web products is a plus;
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, and XP;
  • Understanding of good product, design, and UX principles;
  • Experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of next-generation web applications;
