Accounts Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance team in ensuring smooth accounting operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transaction Management: Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations for vendors and customers.
  • Bookkeeping and Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and financial records.
  • Bank Reconciliation and Cash Flow Management: Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper cash flow management.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management.
  • Tax Compliance and Statutory Requirements: Assist in tax filing (GST, VAT, TDS, etc.) and statutory compliance.
  • Payroll Processing and Disbursement: Support payroll calculations and disbursement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis.
  • Auditing Support: Provide assistance during internal and external audits.
  • Expense Management and Cost Control: Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures.
  • Software and ERP Management: Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) for financial data management.
  • Vendor and Client Coordination: Handle queries related to accounts, invoices, and payments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Numerical and Analytical Skills: Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Independence and Time Management: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
