Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with IFRS and IAS.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with IFRS and IAS.
  2. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients.
  3. Performing bank reconciliations, ledger adjustments, and financial analysis.
  4. Assisting in cash flow management and budgeting.
  5. Recording daily transactions, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
  6. Ensuring proper classification of expenses and revenues.
  7. Processing accounts payable & receivable and reconciling discrepancies.
  8. Maintaining proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Tax Compliance:

The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of UAE VAT laws, Canadian tax regulations, and Pakistani tax laws. They will assist in VAT, GST/HST, and corporate tax filings for relevant jurisdictions, ensuring tax deductions, compliance, and reporting are done accurately.

Software Proficiency:

The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Zoho Books for accounting and reporting, and will stay up to date with digital accounting tools to improve efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA/CA/CPA.
  • 3+ years of accounting & bookkeeping experience (preferably in international firms).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and financial reporting standards.
  • Basic understanding of tax laws in Dubai, Canada, and Pakistan.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Zoho Books.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
