Tourism and Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to fill a unique position combining receptionist and business development roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and assist visitors, clients, and guests with a professional demeanor.
  2. Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and manage emails in a timely manner.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized reception area that reflects the organization's image.
  4. Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
  5. Promote and develop tourism services, programs, and partnerships to enhance customer experience.
  6. Collaborate with local attractions, hotels, and other tourism stakeholders to drive growth.
  7. Coordinate events, tours, and activities for visitors to provide exceptional experiences.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local tourist destinations and services.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for growth and expansion.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners to foster loyalty and trust.
  3. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to capitalize on potential opportunities.
  4. Lead initiatives to increase brand visibility and market share in the industry.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines is crucial.
