Software Engineering Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our software engineering efforts. As a Software Engineering Director, you will be responsible for setting the technical vision and driving innovation in our products.

  • Create and execute a strategic plan to develop and implement cutting-edge software solutions.
  • Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Mentor and develop engineers to enhance their skills and career growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in programming languages such as PHP (Laravel) and Python.
  • Strong experience in designing and scaling RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Advanced knowledge of database systems including MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Proven experience with cloud services, infrastructure, and cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with modern deployment pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working with payment processing systems.
  • Knowledge of financial transaction security standards.
  • Background in fintech, remittance, or financial services platforms.
