Job Title: Technical Equipment Specialist

Overview

This role involves the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment. As a Technical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, retrofitting, and providing technical support for various products, both in-house and on-site.

The position also includes working on competitive equipment and performing warranty and recall work. Experienced team members will provide technical instruction and guidance to new and less experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with safety and cybersecurity policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Perform startup/commissioning on various products and possible competitor equipment.
  • Carry out preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
  • Analyze and interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, and different problems on our equipment and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Analyze and explain report results to customers and management.
  • Certification and accreditation may be required based on business and country regulations.
  • Participate in team collaborative initiatives and management meetings to achieve departmental and company objectives.
  • Understand scope of work, respect time allocation to perform tasks, and ensure full traceability.
  • Support planners, coordinators, project managers to obtain a comprehensive understanding of customer site conditions.
  • Evaluate quality or technical issues detected in the field.
  • Understand EcoStruxure offer and provide technical explanations to customers.
  • Utilize digital tools designed for this role.
  • Track installed base (serviceable assets).
  • Advise customers on opportunities to optimize their install base and create lead generation business opportunities.
  • Perform basic audits of customers' electrical systems and equipment (MPS walkthrough).
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience and promote best-in-class service operations.
Requirements

We are seeking individuals who possess a bachelor's degree in electronics/electrical/mechanical engineering, combined with 3-4 years of equivalent experience in a related field or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
