Software Engineering Role Overview

The role of a software engineer involves creating innovative solutions to meet business objectives. As an integral part of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying high-quality software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed technical specifications and design documents for software applications.

  • Create code updates aligned with requirements and specifications, ensuring efficient and effective implementation.

  • Perform thorough unit testing, integration testing and happy scenario testing to ensure software quality and accuracy.

  • Conduct regular documentation and maintain project-related records and system-specific service documentation.

  • Generate release notes, installation guides, operational procedures, release build and packaging, and handover documentation.

  • Prepare and deliver project updates, delivery reports, and status reports on planned/consumed/available points.

  • Participate in proof-of-concepts, solution capability checks, and validations when required.

  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions within the scope of the project or enhancement.

  • Collaborate with tools and frameworks used by customers, such as JIRA, Bitbucket, and other specified tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

  • At least 7 years of experience in software development and solution design.

  • Strong expertise in Java and .NET application development.

  • Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Git and DevOps frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
