Medical Officer Job Opportunity
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Medical Officer to join our team in delivering medical care to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing routine and emergency medical services, working with other Medical Officers to ensure 24-hour hospital service.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients by taking complete medical histories, performing physical examinations, and documenting all information in the hospital's management system.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including medication regimens and treatment protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to monitor patient progress, conduct examinations as requested, and provide guidance on patient care.
- Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for admitted patients, including managing laboring patients and performing vaginal deliveries.
- Manage patients in the Emergency Room, including assessing and treating complicated antenatal cases in conjunction with senior team members.
- Perform various medical procedures as advised by Consultants, within their experience and competence.
- Degree in Medicine (MBBS)
- Registration with the PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council)
- One-year house job experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Professional approach with patients, staff, and visitors
