Job Description:

The Department of Surgery at a renowned hospital is a comprehensive and sub-specialty care provider in various surgical fields. Our team has a strong commitment to teaching and research, with formal structured undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

We are seeking a skilled Medical Officer, Surgery to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing pre-operative evaluations, managing surgical patients post-operatively, documenting patient information, and ensuring timely communication with patients and families.

In addition, the Medical Officer, Surgery will remain updated on infection control procedures, standard protocols, and clinical practices of the hospital. They will also ensure availability on the premises when on call and respond promptly to calls.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough pre-operative evaluation of patients
  • Manage surgical patients effectively post-operatively
  • Document patient information accurately in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Stay updated on infection control procedures and clinical practices
Requirements:
  • MBBS degree from an accredited university
  • At least one year of post-MBBS experience from a reputable institution
  • A valid medical license
  • Willingness to work shift duties
