The role of a Help Desk Specialist involves providing technical support to users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues, and ensuring seamless system operation. This position requires strong problem-solving and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to user queries and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Managing and maintaining inventory of IT equipment and instruments to ensure optimal system performance.
- Ensuring updates on firewalls and antivirus applications across all PCs to protect against cyber threats.
- Collaborating with third-party vendors for IT equipment and software maintenance with management approval.
Job Requirements:
- 5-10 years of IT support experience to provide expert-level guidance.
- Proficiency in Windows/Mac/Linux, networking, and IT infrastructure to ensure compatibility and integration.
- Experience with MikroTik, VPNs, LAN/WAN, IP cameras, and IP PABX to handle complex systems.
- Knowledge of VMware ESXi servers and virtual environments to manage and optimize resources.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
