Assistant Retail Manager - Sales Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Retail Manager to support our retail operations. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail outlet, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient processes, and a positive shopping experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Assist in supervising and motivating a team of retail associates, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure excellent customer service, adherence to company policies, and achievement of sales goals.
  2. Customer Service: Maintain a customer-centric focus by ensuring that all customers receive a welcoming and personalized shopping experience, addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations promptly and professionally.
  3. Sales Performance: Collaborate with management to develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, monitoring sales performance, analyzing trends, and identifying areas for improvement, providing coaching and support to the sales team to drive sales growth.
  4. Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize stock discrepancies, conducting regular stock checks, performing inventory reconciliations, and coordinating with the Warehouse team for replenishment.
  5. Visual Merchandising: Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure effective product presentation and display in line with company guidelines, monitoring and maintaining visual standards on the shop floor, including product placement, signage, and cleanliness.
  6. Operational Efficiency: Assist in implementing and maintaining efficient store operations, including cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and loss prevention measures, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational effectiveness.
  7. Staff Scheduling: Support management in creating and managing employee schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand while controlling labor costs.
  8. Training and Development: Assist in training new hires on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge, conducting ongoing training sessions to enhance the skills and product knowledge of the sales team.
  9. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and operational metrics, analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing insights and recommendations to management.
